Promenadisali

The Inviting Promenadisali

People have been enjoying concerts and performances at Promenadisali since 1999. Even today, the hall continues to warmly welcome art enthusiasts from across Finland to experience vibrant performances by local, national, and international artists, all meeting the high expectations of the audience.

From the auditorium, visitors can comfortably enjoy a wide range of shows. Promenadisali has a total of 676 seats, divided between the stalls (272 seats) and the balconies (404 seats). The auditorium rises gradually from the third row, and from the fourth row onward, the seats are equipped with folding tables.

Promenadikeskus is accessible, with ramps and an automatic front door that opens with the push of a button on the left-hand side. Corridors and doorways are wide to ensure easy entry.

Accessible Seating

Promenadisali provides designated seating for individuals with reduced mobility or hearing impairments. There are six wheelchair spaces located on both sides of the upper balcony, accessible by lift. Extra seats for assistants are included in the wheelchair ticket price.

The rear balcony (left and right) is equipped with an induction loop system, providing an accessible listening environment. Induction loop seating is located on the right side of the rear balcony (rows 9–10).

Take Your Time – No Need to Rush!

Arrive early for a relaxed experience. Parking spaces near Promenadikeskus may be limited, so plan accordingly.

To avoid the busiest times at the coat check, we recommend arriving at the Promenadikeskus lobby 45 minutes before the performance begins. This gives you time to check your coat in peace and avoid unnecessary stress.

With a few extra minutes, you can relax, chat with friends, and enjoy refreshments in the restaurant before the show begins.

Food and Beverages

For safety and cleanliness, drinks and snacks purchased at Promenadikeskus must be consumed during the intermission in the lobby or restaurant. We encourage you to focus fully on the performance during the show.

Is Filming Allowed?

Photography often raises questions. In most cases, taking photos is permitted—preferably during the first song or segment to minimize disruption. Announcers or performers often provide specific instructions about photography before the show.

Please note that video recording is strictly prohibited. Filming the stage, whether short clips or full performances, is not allowed. Most importantly—enjoy the live experience!
